So, today was our final Sec4 level assembly- next Thursday, the exams start. Our 'speaker' today was, for the first time, our school's CEO/Principal, Mr Ang. Turns out he 'wanted' to speak with us since the beginnig of the year, but our "schedule' is so packed...etc." Er,ok...
Anyway, I was quite eager to listen to him. I must confess, my first impression of him was not very good. When he addressed the whole school during the morning flag raising at the start of the school year, I was a little 'shocked' by his way of speaking. (Read- he's not good at speaking). So I wanted to see if my first impression was a correct one today. Also, I heard recently that RJC's principal is very cold, and VJC's principal is very friendly, so I was wondering what my principal was like.
Mr Ang spoke in English, by the way. It wasn't bad English, and it was quite fluent, but I dunno.... it just sounded very weird. Very unnatural. But I could tell he was trying to be friendly, though it seemed contrived.
Wonder how JC principals get chosen...
Note: I'm not saying Mr Ang is no good. Don't accuse me of slander.
