Went for dinner at some restaurant called "The Buffet". The second "f" is supposed to be inverted, but the name's still a little weird. And the hotel that housed "The Buffet" is called The M Hotel. Lol. Anyway, it isn't a typical restaurant. The best way to describe it would be a "high class Seoul Garden".
At Seoul Garden, for those who don't know, you get to take as much raw food as you want and cook it yourself on the hot plate or soup at your own table. I only went there once. 4K (compulsory/forced) gathering this year. All I rememeber is that I ate a lot, felt very uncomfortable after eating a lot, and burped a lot (that relieved the uncomfortable....ness. Can't remember the noun) . And that was the day I first played bowling. The 6M gathering early last year doesn't count, 'cos I didn't bowl. All I did was sit and watch. Speaking of that gathering, I found out that Galven blogged about it last year. His post included a list of the people who turned up. And my name wasn't in the list. WTH. Bloody Galven.
Hm... I went off-track. Ok, back to "The Buffet". Unlike Seoul Garden, at "The Buffet", there's only soup. But there are two kinds. Chicken and Tom Yam. And I think maybe the food was of better "quality". Maybe. 'Cos I didn't feel uncomfortable after the dinner. And there were some dessert stuff too. Seoul Garden only had crappy ice-cream. Or maybe it was the nice ambience. Made me eat slower and less. Anyway, I just discovered how tasty half-cooked broccoli is. But I did dip it into the chicken soup, so maybe that made it better tasting.
Towards the end of dinner, the waitress knocked over my glass. It seemed as if everything suddenly went slo-mo, haha. I saw the water come out of the glass, then it almost reached the table when I suddenly realised what was happening, and jumped out of my seat. The water still got me, but it wasn't so bad. It's just water, anyway.
So anyway, I'm never going back to Seoul Garden, but I don't mind dinner or lunch at "The Buffet" again. Of course, I haven't factored in the price. Adding the price into consideration, I wouldn't go back to both again. But I didn't pay at "The Buffet" anyway. It was a dinner with my relatives.
Oh man, this whole post is all about food and bloody galven. LOL. Should I start posting about philosophical stuff? Hm........... Nah. Crap is good. And easier to write.
