Fridays are long days. Not just 'cos it ends late- I think on Mondays choir practice ends later. But because there's a lot of stuff to do on Fridays. Besides all the lectures and the one (Maths) tutorial, I've got PE at 8am. Today, for some reason, I decided to bring only one set of PE. "Why not", I thought. Well, at 4.20pm, I regretted not bringing at least another shirt. My shirt stank. And I had to wear it. For choir PT. Aargh.
Today we were supposed to play frisbee for choir PT. Some more screaming? Maybe, haha. But I didn't get to find out, 'cos it started drizzling and thundering. Well, I wasn't the tallest, but we had to spare a thought for the natural lightning-rods, haha. So what did we do? Some crap games-like stuff. Orientation part 2, lol. Really crappy. Only the jumping jacks were of any use. That senoir in charge of PT today can really get self-high looking at us playing with the games that seemed to have been made up on the spot...
Oh, and during PE we had quite a spat of bad luck. Three 'casualties', lol. First there was Isaac, who WALKED INTO the flag pole while we were on the way to the venue for PE. He was watching Francis kick the capteh on the way. He got quite a deep gash above his eye...
Next was Meiling. Zhiyong and I wanted to throw (soft)ball after the standing broad jump trials (for which I managed to jump 242 btw- grade A for Napfa!). After three months, I felt like throwing ball again for fun. Then Meiling and Rachel wanted to join us. Two non-softballers. Me? Well, I was a softballer. So we were throwing for quite a while, when the ball decided to come out of Meiling's glove after she caught it and hit her in the nose. At first I thought it wasn't so bad... But then she started crying. Oh man... If only the person who got hit was a guy... But well, I felt guilty after that... If I hadn't suggested we throw ball then she wouldn't have got hit in the nose. Oh well. btw, just to clarify, it wasn't me who threw the ball which hit Meiling.
The final one wasn't that serious. Liting. The rest of them (meaning those other than us four throwing ball) were playing captain's ball. Apparently when she was running there was a sudden crack sound coming from her a ankle or something. Nothing serious I think.
After that we all got rather paranoid, haha. I think I almost choked on my bottle of limeade, LOL. And just my luck, I 'lost' $1.50 in buying a ramly burger for someone else, haha.
Choir practice was still quite fun. I'm still quite confused for Bin-nam-ma, thought I think I've gotten the hang of Double Double Toil and Trouble! I got really excited when we were singing the latter. It just rocks! Not literally, I mean... the song's great! Today was the first time I saw The Boss almost being angry. She was quite frustrated by the Sops' problem with coming in at the right time. Almost sent them out. Woah. The last time when she joked about Basses always getting sent out, I never thought it was that serious. Hm...
Anyway, it's getting late, gonna sleep.
