Well, I had a post back a week or two ago about how I managed to find Alvin's supposedly 'hidden' blog. He clicked on a link on his own blog to go to mine, and Statcounter recorded his visit with the referrer url as his blog add. haha, So I found it. It seems he has changed it again though, and he wants it to remain as 'hidden' as possible. (Hint: blue=bloo)
Anyway, I just took a look at who's been visiting my blog. Not that I can find out the exact person, but I can see which country they come from. Mostly S'pore. But something strange appeared. I've been getting visits from http://templatetricks.blogspot.com/2005/04/blogger-can-save-your-lost-posts.html
Dunno why. I went to that site, and found out they put a link to one of my posts in a column of links called "Blog Buzz: Powered by Newsgator, del.icio.us, Technorati, and the whole Internet". The name Technorati rang a bell. Why? 'Cos a few days back, on the day I went open house, someone came to my blog via a search. The referrer url was "http://www.technorati.com/search/%22xun%20yu%22%20%22hci%22"
LOL. That meant someone was searching for "Xun Yu" and "HCI", and stumbled upon my blog in the process. Xun Yu, btw, was the senior at HCI I was talking about in my previous post, the one who danced a lil'... "gaily".
So... why would people link to one of my posts? What's with this Technorati? Why put my link in a "Blog Buzz column" That post, btw, is the one about my new template. Hm... fishy...
LOL. Statcounter very fun.
EDIT: Hm... it seems that site that linked to my post used some thingy to pull links of blog posts with the word "template" in it into their "blog buzz" column. Ah well...
