I know I shouldn't be blogging now, but I couldn't resist making a post about this.
Alvin recently changed his blog address. http://alvinium.blogspot.com dissapeared recently, then came back on with a blank post. When Alvin told me that he changed address, I realised that someone else had taken it. So, I tried googling to find his new url, 'cos he didn't want to reveal his new address to anyone. Didn't work.
I like to check my statcounter everyday, just to see who visited. There's this feature where I can see where the visitor came from (i.e. the site the visitor was previously at). Because of the "Next Blog" button, whenever I make a new post, I get a lot of visitors who got referred from other blogs. It was pretty interesting to see the blogs my visitors were reading before they stumbled upon mine. For a while. Then the novelty wore off.
But this case was different. A Singaporean (IP address) came to my blog from another blog. That never happened. All my Singaporean visitors were my friends, so the referrer was usually "No Referrer", meaning they just typed the address into the address bar. Though previously I had a few referrers from http://alvinium.blogspot.com, 'cos Alvin said he preferred to visit my blog through a link on his.
So I decided to go to http://blahblahblueboy.blogspot.com . And look what I found. Alvin's new blog address. LOL. The power of statcounter.

[EDIT]Aww... Alvin changed his blog address again, after finding out. (See "nabei statcounter" in my tagboard. LOL) Maybe I shouldn't have posted anything on his tagboard, then he'd never have known. Ah well.
