More sore throat is sort of gone. I hope. But then I've started coughing. This sucks. The last time I had a cough I got really sick. It isn't so bad this time... yet. Saw green when I blew my nose this morning. Sigh. I wonder how many times I've fallen ill this year. Maybe it's cos I've been sleeping a lot less this year. I sure hope it isn't cos my immunity's gone down or something like that.
Spent my whole day at home. I heard the CIP day thing was fun. Painting walls and killing bed bugs. Hm. I had my own fun at home.
I finally sat down and really practiced piano! Not one of those last-minute-right-before-lesson practices. Haha. So there was no rush to get anything done. It sure feels good when I play those semiquavers. At the right speed. Well, ok it's nowhere near the actual tempo, but fast enough to make it fun to play.
I just started on a second piece for my grade 7 exam. Did I mention? It's in February/March. So I've got to start now, or else there wouldn't be enough time. Piano+Blocks+SYF+Tutorials+dunnowhatelse = Oh no.
I thought the List C piece (Dumia by Najil Hakim - woah I can remember the name) was weird at first, but now I think it's pretty interesting. Very distinct Middle Eastern style. It's really fast though. I'm not even playing at half the speed right now.
The List A piece. I really LOVE it. Right from the start, when I played the first chord man. Beethoven. Forgot the name.
Nothing's decided yet. My teacher wants me to try out some other pieces for List A and C. But I really wanna stick to the Beethoven one for List A! It's quite long... but as long as I can keep myself motivated to practice for it. The piece itself is already so beautiful! That's motivation enough. I hope. There's a jazz piece for List C. But I dunno... I kinda messed up my grade 6 one. Even though I liked the song. Oh well. See how it goes.
I gotta start practicing more!

6 days to the Choir Penang Trip. It's so soon man. But I still don't feel the sense of urgency. Hm. I don't feel ready. Not just singing-wise, but um mental-preparedness.
The guys aren't gonna wear our concert costumes. Cos apparently we look horrible in them. Hm. I think we don't look too bad actually... but anyway now we're gonna perform in white shirts and black pants. Probably the costume-pants. That means gotta tuck in. Aargh.

The green form's still on my table. The one for applying for H3. Aargh. Monday's the deadline for submission. 5pm. And I still don't know the name of the MOE Chem H3 course! Gosh I wonder what'll happen if I really forgetting to submit it. I thought about it a bit once yesterday when I spotted that green piece of paper. I'll just leave it be. It might just be a blessing in disguise, what with all the things going on next year.
But of course I WANT THE H3! Ok I'll set an alarm reminder in my phone for tomorrow. Now to ask someone about that course's name...
