Something very funny happened yesterday. At around 10pm, I realised I got a missed call at around 8pm. The number was unfamilliar, so I called it. Most probably it's a classmate calling my handphone with his home phone, I thought. So when the person answered at the other end (a low male voice), I was expecting him to recognise me and start talking. But all I heard was
Person:"Hello?"
silence
then the rest of the conversation went something like this.
Me: "Urm, did someone call me at this number?"
Person: "Huh? What number"
Me:"967xxxxx" (privacy, haha)
Person:"Er, who is this?"
Me: "Zhe Xi"
Person: "Jersey?"
Me: "Zhe. Xi."
Person: "Is this some advertising thing?"
Me(getting pissed): "No! Someone called me at 8plus. I saw I got a missed call, so I called back lah!"
Person (voice in background): "Anyone called Jersey?"
Person: "No one called you."
Me (damn pissed): "Hey, someone definitely called me at this number. I'm just calling back!"
Person: "But no one called you leh."
Me: "... nvm, bye."
I was thinking, what the heck, someone called me, then when I call back, no one acknowledges the phone call. Then, a few minutes later, I got a call from the same number again. This time, it was one of my classmates. So I guessed that person I was talking to was his dad. I asked him. Guessed correctly. LOL.
Haha, I was really pissed at that guy, my classmate's dad. Dunno, if you can gather from the above, but I was on the verge of shouting at him. Haha, sorry Kai Keat. Anyway, I'll probably never see your father.
