My teacher just called with my piano exam results.

So now I got two pieces of good news, and one piece of bad news.

Good news 1: I passed Grade 6 exam! Phew!

Bad news: 124/150 only though. Merit only. Missed distinction by 6 marks (Aargh). I thought I'd do better this year than I did for my Grade 5 exam last year. Turns out I did better last year, with 126. Never got distinction before... And it's supposed to get a lot harder for Grade 7. So I may never get a distinction...sigh...

Good news 2: Hm... I did think of two pieces of good news. Now I can't remember the second. Aargh. Um, maybe it's that I'm now in the higher Grade? Dunno...

Two more grades! Unless I decide to do Diploma. But I heard it's hard. Hm...
