Cos of HC's extremely good results (shan't go into the boring details here), we got a half day! Lessons ended at 12pm. Interestingly, the high school side also got the half day. I supposed that makes up for the lack of the "O-level-result-half-day" we got every year last time, before IP.
So... I was looking forward to today. Got to skip GP and Bio tutorial! Although something tells me the bio tutor will want a make-up tutorial. Oh well. Whoops, almost forgot- missed the LAST chinese lecture too! I don't think they'll hold a make-up session for that, haha. Next week during the last ever chinese lecture period it'll be the MCQ "test". Hm... I hope it's easy. Not that I'll be that dissapointed if I don't manage to pass anyway...
Some of the class wanted to go kbox-ing. I decided not to go yesterday already. Rather go home and slack. Anyway I don't feel comfortable singing solo in front of so many people, even if they're my friends. Lol, that's not the reason I gave for not going though. I told them, "Must give you all chance.. if I go then sure trash one". haha.
I followed them to cineleisure for lunch though. Burger King. It seems a little stupid to go to town just to eat at BK and then go home... but well, I also did a little gift shopping for my choir angel and mortal. Revelation day was yesterday actually. But my mortal left early before it was time to "reveal ourselves", and for some reason my angel didn't come up to me. I was sitting around for a while, then walking around asking people. So sad, haha. Then I realised it's probably cos she didn't come. Hm... it'd better be that she didn't come, and not cos she doesn't wanna reveal. Lol. But well, I didn't actually write much to my angel, cos she didn't reply for a long while. It's very likely that my latest (meaning two weeks ago) reply letter got stolen or something, making us both wait for a letter that never came, haha. Oh well.
Anyway, I'm still very lousy at choosing gifts. Had to ask some of my classmates to help me choose. It's not really cos I've got no taste or anything. I take very long to decide what to get. Gift-buying is the worst part of the Angel-Mortal game for me... Feel like passing on next year's haha. The letter writing is quite fun actually.
Dunno what came over me. I got this really big "bolster-pillow" thingy. Oh man. How am I gonna bring it to school discreetly tomorrow? Aargh.
After reaching home I meant to do a bit of work. But... I didn't. Then I thought maybe I should practice a bit of piano. But... I didn't (practiced only a little bit later) . Ended up watching this show called "Les Choristes". I think it's probably the first movie I've watched that's in a foreign language. Not bad. The ending wasn't the best, but still quite a nice movie overall. I was moved at one part. Eyes got a little moist. A little. Lit-tle. Anyway, the soundtrack's great! One of the best movie OSTs ever- besides SW, that is, haha. And ok, maybe that little boy was, erm quite cute.
So... it's 9.22pm and have I done any work? Nope, not really. Not unless you count taking out the Maths tutorial 2B as "work". So has the half-day made any difference? Well, sort of. I got more time to slack.
It's only Maths and GP tomorrow anyway. The rest are lectures. Fridays are fun. PE in the morning with one hour break following it, and choir in the afternoon!
Off to do (some) work!
