My left eyelid's been twitching a lot the whole day. It's not non-stop twitching- it just twitches for a while, then it stops (or maybe I stop noticing), then after a while it starts again. Is that supposed to be a bad omen or something? lol
I've never been very superstitious. Or rather, I don't want to be superstitious. So I try not to believe in any, um, superstitious stuff. But sometimes I just like to think that if I do something, I'll be more lucky. Something like that. Of course, I definitely don't believe in any of those crazy superstitions, like the walking-under-a-ladder-brings-bad-luck one, or the crossing-the-path-of-a-black-cat crap. I say "touch wood" out loud one once in a while, just for fun.
If I was ever superstitious, it's when I was gambling. Yes, gambling. BUT only during Chinese New Year. With my relatives. In ringgit (M'sian currency. Yeah, I know ringgit is still money). I've been using this oversized Yakult "bottle" to hold my ringgit/gambling money. I use it every year, for over 5 years already, I think. Whenever I play, I put my bet under the yakult bottle. And I like to experiment with different orientations, to see which one was the most lucky, haha. For example, I could fold the note in two, and put it face up, or I could spread it out, etc. Then when I started losing a lot of money (not really a lot, just relatively speaking), I would change the orientation of the note, in a bid to change my luck. Yeah, it sounds stupid. But it's fun. Can't wait for the next Chinese New Year.
