Hm... it feels weird not to wake up at 6am, to be on the com at home right now on a week day. No school! Founder's day today. No lessons, but from 5pm onwards we have to be at school for some "hwa chong idol" singing 'contest'.
I still feel weird. School just reopened yesterday, and here I am doing nothing at 1pm. The only thing that's keeping me from believing that there's really school today and that I'm playing truant is the fact that so many of my classmates and schoolmates are online.
So... I guess I should be using this extra time to catch up on my work. To finish up my undone (dunno how to do) tutorials. But I haven't done anything today. Gotta go back to school soon to do that physics egg project. Oh well- wasted holiday.
Oh I almost forgot- yesterday. Econs test. I really thought 45 minutes would be enough for a two part essay question. Besides, we had the whole of the hols to prepare for the question (and one other question, only one came out). But I thought wrong. For I think perhaps the first time in all my experieces of writing for humanities tests, I actually didn't have enough time. In the past I always didn't have enough to write, and ended up racking my brains furiously trying to remember/make up stuff to write for the last few minutes or so of the test. But this econs test, I didn't have enough time.
I really need to improve my writing speed. Whenever we're writing essays, I always notice the people around me writing almost twice as fast as me. So demoralising... Yeah I know, it's the quality that counts, but no matter how great the quality of your essay is... a short essay doesn't give a very good impression. Gotta write faster... But I'd better try and write neater too haha.
Choir is still fun! Learnt a new song yesterday. 夜来香。 Nice song. The bass part is not very diffictult actually. For the most part of the song, we're singing only one word- "Bom". lol. But at least our part's not monotonous. It actually sounds nice on its own!
