Yeeeuuuurgh! I think I just stepped on a lizard! Not that I'm scared of lizards or anything, but I actually stepped on one!
I went into the kitchen to get a drink of water, not bothering to turn the lights on. Then out of the corner of my eye I noticed something moving across the floor, and the next thing I knew, I felt something weird under my right foot! Aaaaah! That's not the unsettling part. I actually heard some sort of squeak or tiny yelp or something! Sounded like a short crow call. Oh man.... And after I immediately lifted my foot up to see what was on the floor, there was nothing. I half-expected to see a detached tail. But there was nothing. Anw yup, that means I stepped on something that can make a noise, can move, and feels weird under my foot. Almost definitely a lizard.
There was some dark stuff on the underside of my foot. I couldn't see what colour it was- the lights weren't switched on. I just rushed of to the toilet to wash my feet. Yeeeeuurgh.
Hm... does this mean there's a bleeding lizard going around the house? Lol.
