I'm not really in the mood for recalling stuff that happened during the week right now, so this post'll probably be quite short. [EDIT: Ok fine, it wasn't short after all]
Nothing much happened during the week. Just the usual lessons. No more CSP though- yeah! PW starts this term. Apparently it's very likely that we'll be grouped according to our index numbers, "to facilitate the recording of marks". Sigh. Why must evey group-based thing be according to index number? Speaking of index number... mine has changed from 16 to 15, cos of the reshufflement of the class (two people changed). I still remember when I first found out my index no. was 16, I was thinking, "aiya, missed 15- a nice 'round' number- by one". Then I got used to 16. And now I have to stop using 16 and change to 15.
Hm... come to think of it, my index number has sort of been decreasing since primary school. In primary 6, my index number was 38. In sec 1 and 2 it was 27, and in sec 3/4 it was 18. Now it's 15. But it'll never reach 1 haha. Quite impossible. My name starts with O.
The two PW questions seem really weird. Wasn't really what I was expecting. The (relative) complexity of the questions really overwhelmed me. Then it dawned on me that there isn't any way out of choosing one of these two questions to do. PW is compulsory- no choice... sigh. Oh well. The questions are quite broad though. There's a lot of areas that can be explored.
Choir today- the seniors came back! Most of their block tests are over already. Some have bio SPA next monday I think. But they're back. Finally. It's nice to have the whole choir in full force again. We mainly revised the songs we learnt, and also planned two different standing arrangements.... because....
we have a performance next Wednesday! I didn't just find out today, but it all happened quite fast- the teacher-in-charge told us about it only two weeks ago I think, and boom- suddenly we've got some performance at some hotel, organised by the police force for a number of foreign delegates.
I'm quite excited. It's gonna be my first performance in a choir! We haven't got our costumes yet though, so we're gonna be wearing "council" uniform. The blazers on top of a white long-sleeved shirt, with the school pants, and black (leather) shoes. Oh, and the school tie too. I gotta somehow find a long-sleeved shirt and black shoes.
Something a classmate said jokingly really hit me today- "You're brainwashed already. That's why you don't even notice that you're crazy over choir!". Hm... it's not so much the brainwashing part that got to me (it's obviously a joke right? Right??) But am I really crazy over choir, so much so that I'd, to quote that classmate, "die for choir"? LOL. I don't think I'm crazy. I just really like choir haha. Hopefully this lasts.
